hey guys,

well i have been getting some great emails from alot of you wanting to know what you could do for my friend aaron for christmas and well after talking to aarons dad saturday i have a great idea. BUT IT'S A BIG ONE!!!!

when aaron's dad came to my shop( i called him so i could give him the dozen copies of Viper Magazine that Mark and Fiona and all of viper magazine were so gracious in sending to me

i asked him what aaron would like for Christmas. Well let me tell you his dad is a very proud and honest guy and he basically was not going to give me any ideas becasue he thought we had already just done too much!!! i told him that it was just the way we are

well basically it came down to what aaron really needed and what would make his very challenging daily grind just a bit easier on him. danny told me that if he had one thing he wished he could give to aaron it would be a small golf cart so aaron could ride it to his friends' houses in his neighborhood. in his condition he gets very winded easily and this would surely be a great idea!!!!

i happen to own my business in the heart of golf car country here in augusta and EZ-GO is just around the corner from my shop. i am going to go over there today and see if i can get them to sell me a cart at cost of manufacture for the cause.

i would expect it to still cost about 4000 dollars and i am able to cover one thousand of it myself so i am asking if anyone is able to swing it and can chip in we can make this happen. i am also going to hit up some local businesses but i was hoping to be able to show our club coming thru one more time for aaron!!!

George, When do you need this bye? I can ask the board of Our local VCA if they would be willing to pitch in? If every region could find $100, you would have more than enough, just a thought?

i would say the absolute deadline would be dec. 20 so that we had time to get the funds to EZGO and they could pull one from their inventory.

Check will be in the mail today. Maybe you could have EZ-GO do a little "Viper like" custom paint work on the cart for him

George, you must be quite a special person for all that you have done, and are doing for this young boy.
He has been included in my prayers for many months now.

i really do not feel specail i just feel that GOD wants everyone on this world to helkp in any way they can. if doing a few little things in my life that is otherwise way too easy and privileged is the least i can do. i work hard for what i have but that does not mean that i should not feel obliged to help others that work hard at life but were just given a few more potholes in their roads than i had.

by the way... i saw your where your nice article in the viper mag this quarter is located too so i guess you will never be able to read it without thinking of aaron

Great Job George!!! You are blessed by blessing others. BTW, a new EZ-Go at RETAIL is about $4m, so you should be able to get a much better deal. You might also consider getting a country club that uses EZ-Gos involved and the company would probably donate the entire cost (I know our club recent bought a new fleet and EZ-Go was VERY generous!). Then you could use the donated funds to add nitrous (or help Aaron some other way, or help some other individual in need!) You make the Viper Nation proud!

with tears in my eyes. I am writing you 2 checks one from last week that i am behind on. and this second for the cart. If you can post a photo of Aaron on his new ride that would be cool. This is all too close to my heart because my friends daughter is 11 and has had her own troubles medically. For her story www.carlysclub.org
