Thank you all for the input on the srt10 vs vette. One last question...all of the road tests on the srt10 state that the biggest problem with the car is the incredible amount of heat that enters the interior from the engine via the side pipes, and some state that it only takes a 20 minute drive to hit maximum tolerance! Is this true of the 04's, and, if so, what can be done about it.
Thanks again. I am liking the srt10 more and more!

There is definitely some heat which will enter the cockpit from the sidesills, but more from the front in the footwells from what I could tell on my '03. Most say that eliminating the second set of cats or putting in high-flow cats will reduce or eliminate the heat entirely. And give you a few extra horses too! I have driven mine for hundreds of miles at a shot (hours and hours) with the stock system and never had a problem with the heat - and I am one of those guys that likes it COLD.
