Hey guys, I bought this car 2 days ago down in Chattanooga and just got home to Chicago with it a few hours ago (man it was a loud ride and my ears are still ringing!). But anyways, the car did come with a wrap, and I sort of like it but would like to modify it a little and would like to get your opinion before I start removing stuff (I am planning on a selling the car in a month or so, I literally just bought it to enjoy a convertible until the warm, well 60 degree, weather runs out)

Here are some pics I took of it on our stop in Louisville, I would like to remove the carbon fiber on the bottom of the bumpers and shirts, and probably the blue on the windshield along with the tints, I think it would look alot better then, whats your opinion?

I also considered just removing the whole wrap, and matte blacking the wheels?

Sometimes people use wraps like this to hide minor paint damage (example: used car dealers). You may want to have a professional remove it and document the paint condition if you do decide to remove it. Enjoy the new ride :2tu:

Cheers,
George

Darn, I always like to bring up the Dolphin Viper whenever I can. Beat me to it.

But seriously, I'm sure there are some that might like it but I have to agree, yank it & look at doing your own thing, it really seems out of place on the car.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to your new obsession.

I took off all the flat black and carbon fiber, also cleaned up the wheels and etc and left the blue/black on, I think it looks pretty good the way it is. I did already have a potential customer come in an fill out a loan app for it today, and he wants it with the wrap, so we will see where that takes us! But for now I told him I need the car for at least 2 weeks to enjoy!

Hmm, its those blue black flame things that needed to go. Everything else was ok. But if that's what he wants....

Wrap must be pretty recent considering it has the Gen. V logos on it. It still looks awful though. I also think it would be a lot easier to sell with the vinyl removed. It will require a very select buyer who will want the car with the Vinyl.

Where did you get it in Chattanooga? I know it must be a new wrap, but I've never even seen another silver vert around here.

This was my thought exactly. You are significantly limiting potential buyers with that wrap. Unless that thing is DIRT cheap, most prospect Viper owners are going to stay away.
