Well I just completed the transaction and brought home a 2001 Sapphire/Silver GTS with 3,800 miles to replace my 2002 Graphite with Connolly interior GTS. I bought it from an exotic car dealer who got in on a trade and he did not know the extent of the modifications. It has a funky cone air filter setup, Bellanger headers, and a catback exhaust (don't know the brand) and possibly lower rear gears as the RPM is higher driving on the expressway and it is sure snappier than the stock 2002 I had. Is there a way to determine what gears I have without taking the differential appart, is there some formula I can apply? Anyway here are the picture.

Very Nice, you have "cleared corners" too. Meaning he replaced the orange signal lights with clear ones. I like the car, looks great !!

PS. The gears are easy to figure out, give us the RPM at varius MPH and we can tell you. A dead give a way is how fast you can go in the lower gears before hitting red line.

Nice color combo, my second favorite. I however would put the stock airbox back in. It looks to me like you wil be taking in nothing but hot air to the engine via those filters.
Looks great otherwise. :2tu:

I love that color combination. Very nice! I too had that type of cone filters on my car but put the original airbox back on. Was told by Cory at Snakeoyl that they draw to much warm(hot) air into the motor. They do not add any HP gains as advertised either. Car is very nice though, I am jealous!

I actualy replaced the orange corners with clear corners from my Graphite GTS. To me the orange ones look better on red and yellow cars.

Great color combo. I would go back to the stock airbox also. (I am considering using the VipAir Performance duct in conjunction with the stock airbox). Sorry I can't help with the gear vs mph formula you are searching for.

Saphire Blue has to be one of the most beautiful colors out there on the Viper. And the stripes adds that extra mean look to the car. It looks beautiful. Congratulations.

Nice car, good luck! Easy way to figure out what gears you have in rear is to jack the car up and turn the driveshaft. If you spin it about 3 times to every wheel revolution you have stock gears. About 3.5 times and you have 3.55:1 and about 3 3/4 times and you have 3.73:1

Take 1st gear to 6000rpm and tell us what the mph is exactly. What should be able to tell you what your gear ratio is from there if you are running stock tires.
