Woah, didn't know they had gotten that bad. Wonder if you could get them rebuilt somewhere? You could go with a full aftermarket setup for that cost. I think my MCS singles were only $2700 with springs for the full set of 4.

One thing you might try is just searching the part number on Google if that isn't what you did already. I know my local dealer was a joke when it came to getting Viper stuff. They wanted $20+ a bottle for a quart of the transmission or rear end fluid. I know it's expensive, but I found it on Amazon for more like $12-14 a quart. The local dealer just doesn't do Viper parts, so they seem to have extra markup.

All they have is used stuff on any of the for sale sites. I never thought of rebuilding them. To late now. They are on there way from Detroit. I really trust the garage that works on my car and they didn't say anything about rebuilding them. Costing me that plus
$1600.00 for new tires. Worth every penny
I love the car. Thanks for your reply.

I've still got my old set kicking around because I think 3 of the 4 were still okay, but figured they would still be worth hanging on to for a "just in case" scenario. I thought about trying to rebuild them as a side project as well just to have them around if I wanted to go back to a stock setup. Doubt I ever will, but I do like having them around for peace of mind. Can't remember who actually made them. I know a lot of OEM setups are basically really designed by aftermarket companies, just with labels removed, so tracking that down would be a good start. Guess they could still be KW like the ACR ones. Will have to look at them closer one of these days.

Mike,
I have a set of struts from my 2005 Viper for $1,000 all four with approx 6,000 miles on them and some other spare parts from my active VIPER episode.

your best bet is to contact a VIPER specialist shop like I did who upgrades the stock struts to racing for customers and they sell them very reasonably . I bought mine from SPT in Los Angeles area ask for Dan Craig. Mike above is giving you one hell of a deal and I would buy them in a second.

Thanks Mike. I wish I knew you had them 3 weeks ago. Mine are on the way from Chrysler. Toys cost money
when you're no longer a child. What are you gonna do. Love my ride.
