Owner feedback...seat support and comfort after break-in

I know there was criticism of seat comfort in a GTS comparison with the ZR1 way back, and later read that SRT was addressing that. I also recall a member saying that after he got some seat time in it that the seat broke in and became more comfortable. Seat comfort is always going to be highly subjective, and will naturally vary with different body builds, but perhaps a number of owners could comment.

I'm 5'10", 210# and require decent lower back support to be the most comfortable after a minor lower back injury years ago. Also, I considered a Jaguar XFR a couple of years ago and the lower seat cushion side bolsters were quite narrow and high that it was probably more comfortable for a guy up to maybe 180#.

So how do you guys find seat comfort after break-in?

My wife and I saw one in the metal yesterday for the first time. She happened to love it in the Adrenaline Red, and in pictures today in every other color I could find, but the orange is still it if they can locate the T/A!

I have close to 2K miles, if not a little more, on my odometer and for me the seat broke in around the 800 mile mark. For me it actually feels more comfortable. I've driven around for hours at a time and never felt fatigued. I prefer some lumbar support and I don't think the Viper seat has any specific adjustment for that, but even without it I still feel fine on extended rides. I'd say that if you feel comfortable in the Viper after adjusting the seat position for your height then it only gets more comfortable as the leather and cushioning breaks in.

The seat "holds" you rather well. I haven't had any issues doing ~120mile road trips in it. It is very comfortable. Longer than that you may run into annoyances.

The TA may be a bit more sensitive due to the shocks and all.

But, I love the seats.

Harold, I'll be investing in weapon's grade ear plugs to address what I anticipate to be an annoyance! Fortunately the ice cream shop and town are only 15 minutes away, and my home track only 45! If the T/A isn't too stiff another track is 3.5 hours, and two more ~7 if I can take it

My seats broke in after about 1000 miles on the highway. They are stiffer than the Gen 3/4 seats, but still comfortable. Early on, the cushions were a bit harder and it didn't support my lower back too well. After finding the right angle and height for the seats, no issues now. There is a lot of adjust-ability with these newer seats, given the height adjusters and how much further back they can go vs the Gen 3/4.

6'- 230 here, seat felt fine from day one, once I lowered it 1" by removing the bump stops over the back tracks.
Pedals are moved all the way closer to me, seat all the way down and than forward about 2". No complaints from my wife either after some 3 hour rides.

Picked ours up at Woodhouse and drove it nine hours to home. Now have 3000 + miles on it and love the seats.
