There's been a lot of discussion in this forum recently that could put off some prospective buyers, but I have a feeling actual Gen V owners are a lot more excited about what their cars are rather than what others might think they aren't. I'd like to hear from owners about their ownership experience, what they love about them, what they don't, and how close they feel they've come to the Holy Grail of sports cars in the Gen V.

1. Handling - a different level above my Gen2.
2. Appearance - what looks better.
3. Power/weight ratio - what is better at 100K.
4. Excellent interior.
5. Exclusivity - definitely not a vette.
7. Head turner.
8. Comfortable yet sporty ride.
9. World class paint.
10. Embedded stripes - I have not seen any other factory paint job with this feature.
11. Capable as a daily driver in warm weather.
12. The SRT at a weight of 3300 and 640 HP is an engineering accomplishment.
13. The best shifting trans I have ever driven.
14. The closest/even trans ratio from 1 through 6 of any car available.
15. The gearing is perfect for road racing and autocross.
16. Extremely low CG.
17. 3500 miles so far, and zero issues other than those I created.
18. Stops under a 100 ft from 60 mph.
20 The best feature cannot be totally explained, however, when you are in the car you do not want to get out.

JackB pretty much covered the bases... Guess the only thing I could add is that it is a GREAT road car. Not only is it an ass hauler, it is actually comfortable on long trips yet can be driven ******* short hops for big fun. 3800 miles and counting....

6800 miles on mine. I've tracked it and drag raced it. It is a great car, and really shines on the road course. Very fast car on the highway, for a stock vehicle. Only gripe has to do with the computer at the drag strip, something is holding mine back. But, that will likely get sorted out with a reflash or TSB soon. The car drives nicer than my Gen 3, especially love the steering feel and tighter feel of the chassis.

Good point on the steering and the tighter feel, Tony.

Very well said! I have owned or driven just about every high priced car on the market. Most performance oriented, there is NOTHING that comes close to delivering the experience of the Gen V!! I never want to stop driving it when I am in it!
