Parts are now available for door handle recall

I just got off the phone with the service manager at my dealership, and upon checking, she discovered that her computer showed the availability of the R14 door handle recall parts. She is ordering them in, and has guaranteed me that they will be available for installation next Monday when my car is having the other two recalls addressed.

The part number needing ordered for the recall is CBAFR141AA It does not show that it is available in the ordering system as of yet. You can order individual door switches, but not the recall package which is needed to cross the recall off the list.

Yep, Mark is right. I was misinformed by the dealership I was going to have service my car. Needless to say, I have informed them that I have no confidence in their ability to carefully service my Viper if they can't even accurately determine if parts are available for the car. Appointment cancelled.

Parts depot are showing kits available! your dealer will need to order this part number CBAFR141AA, then the second part is the codes for the car color which also seem to be well stocked.
