I have left them 3 messages in the past 3 days regarding the blower going out on me. What I'm trying to find out is if they are the only co. that rebuilds their blowers?? Does any other co. rebuild the novi 2000 or do I have to buy a new one? Anyone know for sure?
Thanks

If reports of no technical and now owner assistance are true... Paxton would seem intent on nailing their own blower coffin shut wouldn't they?

The site that I posted only rebuilds paxton blowers that are the ball bearing type. I have been searching google to no avail. I think the reason why the customer service ***** so bad is because they know they have you by the balls. They just want you to go out and buy another one-the hell with them rebuilding them-no money in it I guess. Hell all I want is a call telling me that they don't rebuild them so I can **** it up and purchase another one.

Sorry to hear that.. But paxton does blow.. in a bad way !

I've had my battles with their tech support, or should I say lack their of.

They ****.. I dont recomend them. I even think Viperclub should pull their advertisement/sponsorship from this board, as paxton truly is NOT looking out for us. They see our money is green, they take it, then act like they dont know us.

I would have to agree that Paxton DOES **** when it comes to customer service and taking responsibilty for their products. Jamie is the service manager over there. Kelly is no longer there, he left, but Kelly was a fast talking lying M/F'r that would say anything to make a sale. Jamie just says no all the time and he knows nothing about the applications of the supercharger and it's cars that it goes on. It's like dealing with an insurance company, glad to take your money but when it's time to make a claim, they won't back it up. I had a warranty item on a part of the paxton kit and Jamie refused to cover it.

So end result is I agree with Jon, the viperboard is doing a diservice by letting paxton advertise their stuff here because they don't back up what they sell and if you are not careful, you can do a ton of potential damage to your car with the paxton deal. (Fuel side of the Paxton kit is lacking big time!). You will have to fork over about another 3 grand for a fuel system to make it safe.

Roe service is great and he takes the time to talk to you and understand what your needs are at any knowledge level.

I like the Roe Service but wanted the centrifugal set up.

Email me and I can explain more.

Pullshard, Is there slop/play in the bearings ? Did the impeller ever touch the housing ? Can you take it apart to see if the bearings have numbers on them ? Where are you located ?

Call me at 519 763 8473. I talked to paxton they trying to look into when and where you left messages. I will sell you a unit a cost. But paxton does rebuild them you just sent it in they rebuild and sent it back. If you bought it as a kit and have not changed the pulley you have a 3 year warranty and it will be under warranty. My rep a paxton looking hard into this.

Sweet. Thanks! I left messages that point to my cell phone which I have with me all the time because I work in an I.T. Department. So if they say something like "we have tried to call him" then that's a load of crap.
This car was bought from someone else who had the kit installed, so I'm kind of working on this in the dark. Like I said in my last post, this was the car that paxton designed the kit from. (God only knows if there was bad blood between the last owner and paxton). If it is on warranty, great I would love to send it back and get a new one (yeee haaaa). But I doubt it. Now that I know that they do rebuild them, then perfect, I will send it in if it is a good price.
1tony1- The blower has a wire device on it like you would see on an electrical meter for your house. If you break it, you void any warranty. There seems to be no slop at all, but when I spin the pully by hand it binds and sounds like rough sand paper on metal. I'm located on Marin County-land of no vipers and no one to work on them, really.
To make a long story short, yeaa right, summer is coming up and I want to drive the car. I don't want this to take 2 months if you know what I mean. In other words, I send the blower and a month later I get it back. Screw that! I would rather bite the bullet and buy another one and have it on in 2 weeks.
Thanks everyone for all the help-you guys are a great help. My name is Lawrence-that is the name I left on their answering machines. I'm going to call right now.

Well I got a hold of a very nice gentleman from paxton. It seems that who ever called them from this board got through. They can not find any of my messages I left-oh well I'm just happy that I talked with someone who tried to help. Is it on warranty-he's not sure. Do they rebuild them-yes. Usually takes 2 weeks, but he was not sure how much it would be. I will be receiving a ph call from someone who is going to help me on this.
The internet is an amazing thing!
If it will take a while, I may be calling you mike adams to get a new one.

Good Luck with the Warranty !! The say its only good to the ORIGINAL purchaser. But maybe Kick *** Mike Adams can even get that waived for you, if its still in its 3 year original warranty.

Kinda ***** you have to pull on distributors for that company before they help you. Good Luck.

Yep-no warranty, oh well I figured that would be the case. Here's some info: to rebuild one it costs 350 bucks, that is unless it has blown-up and thrown shrapnel all over the place. That seems like a damn good price. If you have an older unit and want to exchange they will take 1000 off of new unit which also seems like a good deal.
Anyhow I'm now a satisfied customer and thank paxton, and the call that was made by a member on this board. I want to thank everyone else on this board for all the help in this matter as well. Now I just hope that the car will be ok.
