Hi Dave - When we were shopping for a Viper, my wife could not reach the pedals in a Gen 1 either, and she insisted she could grow a few more inch or put her on the 'Rack' for a 'stretch'. The Gen 2's offered the adjustable Pedal Rack and that saved the day, but not my pocket book - we purchased it. The salesman did offer to rebolt the Gen 1 seat closer to the steering wheel, but with my height I declined. You might consider that ahead of wooden blocks on the pedals - Yikes !!
