Gerald,

Motor looks great and the power numbers are awesome. One question, where do you keep the gerbils??

Well I was going to take a photo of a dirty engine, but I decided a clean one might look better for a few photos..

Your car sounds like one sweet A$$ ride!!

So how does it pull, and what was your initial impression when you first drove it after the supercharger?

It's silly to bother to comment since everyone's already saying what I would say, but I can't resist .. that is just too sweet, the only thing better than looking at that beauty would be riding in the beast. Congrat's, I know it was a lot of work, coordination, time, and money - in a word; WOW.

Dave.

Oh and I know you're used to very powerful rides, but use that thing in good health & stay safe, Gerald.

Great pics Gerald. I saw your car under construction at Doug's shop. It looked even better with the hood off. I was mostly interested in seeing the inter cooler installation. I want one too you lucky duck!

Kind of hard to believe it's around 800 at the wheels isn't it by looking at the photos.....???!!!! Sorry for the smearing of the light in the pictures, I think there is some film on the lens of the camera....

Here's the fuel cell in the back that holds the race fuel for the extra injectors..

What people need to realize, and what is truly the most amazing thing about Doug's set-ups, is that this setup looks just like all of his other installs (Level I through Level III)!

If it weren't for the red car and the suplemental fuel system, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those pics and my car.

Actually, that isn't 100% true... mine is dirty from smokin' 650R's every day... but other than that the setup is perfect and the power is there all the time!

Gerald - You got a few too many gerbils under that hood.

I went for a ride in Gerald's car when they were testing it. My first impression was: This is one of the fastest cars I have ever been in! I've ridden motorcycles for years but Gerald's car is an impressive beast. 1st gear was short and the power was instant, you could barely use the throttle. 2nd was much better but broke the tires loose very easily if you hit it too hard. 3nd pulled like 2nd, you could use the throttle a little harder but it still broke the tires loose. What shocked me was the tires would spin not just when you shifted from 2nd to 3rd, but at the TOP of 3rd gear when the boost went higher. The car was able to spin the tires in 4th at high boost! The power was very usable on the street but you have to get used to the car first. Nitrous could make this much power, but to have this much power all the time is "simply amazing." These cars built by DLM are making some serious power. Doug's shop is PACKED with Vipers -- until you take one ride in any of his cars you'll definitely understand why.

what stage is that? How long were you viperless?

My kit took around 12-14 weeks. I added the intercooler when it was done. There was R & D that went into that as I decided to put that on at the last minute. That put another 4 weeks on the process with ordering the correct one, fitting it and re-tuning the car for the intercooler, then came the striping, adding new pads, etc..

See my above post.. It's not really any DLM Stage "X" kit, lots of custom stuff from Stage I's, II"s and some III stuff. So putting a number on this kit is misleading..

Have you been puffin on my tail-pipe again???
I know you spend alot of time looking at the tail end of my 650R - only problem is, I can not remember a time that you were actually close enough to give it a ****........

Gerald- really nice pictures of a Truly Amazing Viper.

I know you just got that camera, so I must critique one thing. See how soft the pictures look? That haze around the bright spots? Clean the finger prints off the lens and that will go away. Probably comes from excessive drooling.
