Photoshop Help - White/Silver Stripes!

Yup, I'm generally good with computers, but not Photoshop.

Can someone help out and add two (factory style) stripes on the photo below of my car. Would like to see white stripes and silver stripes if possible.

I know there are pictures of other people's cars with these stripes, but it isn't quite the same as seeing it on your car and comparing.

Help, Photoshop White Stripes!!!

First off, my last request was deleted... But, yes I know I can look at other cars with stripes, but it isn't the same! Just call me obsessive, but to make that kind of decision, I really would like to see stripes on my car and compare the same picture with and without.

If you can, that would be great!

and this is just my opinion so dont take offense, I think RTs look better solid. The rear deck/trunk area looks off with the stripes Its not bad with stripes I just think you are better of without them on a RT.

I would try vinyl first in case JohnnyViper is right and you don't like it. Silver stripes also look good on red. I wish I could help, but I have no Photoshop skills.

I was going to also add vinyl first , you can just peal it off if its not to your taste and its a minimal cost, and silver does look smashing on red

Thanks...I too have no photoshop skills to add things like stripes, just a basic user.

I agree about vinyl as a "just in case" I don't like it. And, I am not convinced that the car would look better with stripes but, for me, seeing the exact car in the same shot helps make the decision. There's a guy in the NY/CT Region with a nice Gen III, Randy, he has silver stripes on red and it really does look good. I figure I can't get someone to do one color stripe, so why be greedy and ask for two!!

I am just as undecided about adding the Mopar wing. Some days I like it and other days, it just looks like something that was "glued" on.

Who knows, just trying to decide.

i agree with you on the mopar wing, some days its ok to me other I think "***", I think it has to do with the angle of the photo

Just to clarify....we will never delete a thread without at least giving you a "why".

If we had deleted it, what made you think it was ok to start another thread without finding out why the old one was removed? Just curious.

Okay, so how about just adding silver stripes...since those are not very common on red RT's.

Yeah...just trying to see it on this pic of MY car, so I can't do an accurate comparison.

Even for taping, I have to kind of get my mind there. My car came with clear rock guard on the hood and I would have to remove it before doing any striping. That is more commitment than I am willing to make, unless convinced that striping is the thing. I have read posts where there is a possibility that I could ruin the paint on the hood, especially if it was repainted. It doesn't look it, Chuck doesn't think so either, but you never know...don't want to find out the hard way!

Seriously, now that I see both, I'm leaning towards no stripes as to me it looks cleaner. But, I'll have to give it more time before I make a decision.
