Pics of my SRT lowered with KW\'s and HRE wheels!

Here are some pics of the latest mods. All i can say is, damn it really makes my car in stock form look weak. The wheels are HRE 542R flat black finish with polished lip 19x10 front 20x13.5 rear. The KW Variant 2 coilovers are on, but somehow we needed to drill larger holes in them because the stock bolts did not fit???

Anyway here are the pics, enjoy!

How did the day-to-day drive improve compared to stock?

Looks neat but don't you have clearance issues when turning, especially if aggressive?

The ride is a bit better then stock. Not as harsh. The only thing is it is very low, so i need to be careful.

I use this as a daily driver btw.

Surprisingly not at all. I have taken turns very aggressive even pretty fast, no issues at all. The only thing i need to worry about is clerence issues, its quite low and i am scared of speed bumps now, i know it wont be a pretty sight going over one.

Okay, you should take this as a big compliment - I'm not crazy about the SRT cars, and I generally don't like black wheels. But YOUR combination - I'd be proud to drive that!

Thank you very much for all the compliments everyone, I really do appreciate it. I am very happy with the way it turned out, looks much better then I expected.

The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 275/30/19 front 345/25/20 rear.

I should add I always HATED black wheels and said I would NEVER own them. But after seeing the flat black I fell in love, it really fits a yellow viper well in my opinion.

I'm not really an SRT-10 fan, however, that looks great. How many squirrels have you had to pick out of your oil cooler so far? LOL. Man that thing is low for a daily driver.

How much did you lower it? The big wheels kinda give an illusion of it being silly low, but it really doesn't look that crazy low at all.

Killer stance for an SRT.

maybe go to yellow calipers now?

Re: Pics of my SRT lowered with KW\'s and HRE wheels!

Thanks again everyone. The car happens to be very low, I don't know how much we lowered it, I just did it till I was happy with the wheel gap. I can say the car is significantly lower, getting in and out is noticeably harder then it use to be. Standing next to the car it feels like its on the ground. Even putting gas in the pump sits much lower. All in all, its a VERY low daily driver, but you live once and i love it!

I was thinking of yellow calipers, but the red give a nice contrast behind the black wheels. I may decide on yellow down the road when I start to get board.

Looks good. On the KW's, you can adjust them from .8-1.5". Looks like you may have them at the maximum drop. I'm considering these as wel, though I'll probably go 1" on my drop. I'm hoping KW fixed the issue of the mounting holes being too small. Anyone know if this has been addressed?

Yes you can. Mine were set just about as low as it goes, but you can go a tiny bit lower. I still had about 3 or 4 threads on the rear left though. KW does not recommend going that low, but they admit it is ok. As far as the issue of the mounting holes being to small, I sure hope they fixed that as well. It seems I was the only one who had the problem, but I guess I got really un lucky since the 2nd set of KW's they sent had the same problem as the first.

I will try to take new pics with my new suspension (DLM Coilovers). We set the car a bit higher in the front and a lower in the rear then the pics with the KW. I think it looks a lot better.
