Pictures from recent 999 recall work

I had my 2000 GTS ACR get the 979 and 999 recall work done at John Hein in San Diego. The Tech was great, he left it up on the rack so I could get some pictures. Nice work, looks very clean, can really see that it would make a difference under load.

I don't see any welds.

you need to check into weather spot welds or rivits(cant tell) are acceptable,they definetly lack the strength of a mig weld(bead)

The gussets are held by rivits as is the brace at the rearend. If you look at the last picture the cross brace (gloss black) is welded in. Now, I have also wondered why.....since the welder is already there why not weld the cross brace and the rear brace.
