Flat6,

I did not paint it, the previous owner had it painted before I bought the car. It is actually quite common for people with the older or Gen I Vipers to have the dash removed, stripped and painted. The stock finish is a not so attractive fuzzy dash that scuffs and scratches pretty easy, so painting it is a more appealing alternative, other than buying a newer dash and putting it in.

Thanks for the compliment on the car!#

Does anyone know of a Company that stocks hood pads pre-painted & ready to go? I know Custom paint colors & jobs will take time but I was thinking that companies who offered them would stock them in color combos that coincided w/ colors that came from the factory.

Thanks Tony. I talked with Jon & I just wasn't aware of the 5 week waiting period. I assumed that they were a stocked item unless you just wanted a custom job. I hate waiting & I'd rather purchase from a Company that has them ready to rock & roll. 5 weeks is a long time IMO for something like this. I think it only took one member 2 weeks (DIY), of course he didn't have @ 500 to do at 1 time I'm sure! My car was back from TNT in 2 weeks, for serious mods. If I can't find such a Company, I guess I'll have to wait, but if I can find a company - then I'd rather not wait. Thanks for your help.

no clear coat just about 6 coats of yellow!!!
and a lot of patience!
thanks!!

Trey,
You could pull the pad off yourself pick up the paint at your
local dodge dealer and give it a shot. if it turns out really bad a new pad is $133 from the dealer.

what the heck give it a shot!!!
If you lived closer, I would come and help ya .. but what can you
do?
