One of my best friends decides to buy a new Z06. Beautiful black car. I think he was out the door for a little over $70. It drove nice and it out ran my FE. I didn't like the paint job on the Vette. To much orange peel. Any ways, we both took them to the little Sat. night car show and parked them together. I had people all night long walk right past his new Z06 to get a look at, take pictures of or talk to me about my GTS. At one point 3 guys were talking to me about the Viper and how beautiful it was when he couldn't take it anymore and interupted them and had to say how his Z06 had kicked my butt. They just looked at him said he had a nice car but no Viper. They told him they would take mine any day over a Vette, just add a blower and blow his away. He finally couldn't take anymore and just left. Kind of funny. Hope he wasn't to mad.

no comparison... visual factor alone, the vette doesnt even come close. Nice car, but but nothing really special about them considering how many of them they make... Z or not, they look alike.

haha..don't worry your not the only one who "**********" your friend(s) that also has a nice sports car it's not your fault the viper looks badass! I do it all the time when we go "cruise"

You see a lot of Vette's on the road and most people don't know a new Z06 from a regular C6. You just don't see many Vipers so they always draw more attention.

That is the exact reason I bought a GTS.

It happens all the time. You see a Vette every time you turn a corner. But if you see a Viper people chase you to get a look. It all comes down to rarity. What's the ratio again? Like 10000:1.

Some very young guys pulled up to me at a light, and said how much they liked the Viper. I told them it was old, and the new ZO6 was faster. The other guy said "Yeah, but I'd rather have this", (pointing at the Viper)
The Viper just has so much emotional appeal, its hard to quantify it with performance numbers alone. It goes beyond that, its got style. Panache.
After I get my Striker heads and cam installed, I'd say I run pretty close with the ZR1. I've reduced my overall weight with rims, Penske shocks, Hypercoil springs, and a couple other small things. 600 crank Hp, similar weight to the ZR1, should be a close race.

Get it all the time, I've never owned a vehicle that got anywhere near this much attention. Like mentioned about, in a weeks time I'll see 50 vettes and probably 0 vipers. Except my own that is lol
