if you will race him in the 1/4, you should not really worry as long as you get an additional 100 hp from nos. the famous 800+ hp supras are killers on the highway, but in the 1/4 are not what 800+ hp car should be. they have problem launching (modulating turbo spool/ traction) and they might dip in the 10s at like 140 traps, but what matters is et, not mph

get the nos, get the slicks, dump at 2500 rpms or so (you will have to practice to find the right rpms/ clutch action) and you should be ok

now, on the highway, from a roll.. he will be a formidable opponent

As mentioned above get the slicks & skinnies from John Purner he has them in stock, HMS is a rip off.

Get the BTR system, I think you can win with it, e-mail Tom Welch (he owns BTR) at [email protected] he will advise on tire pressure, launcing & shifting points as well as what size jets to use.

Helmet and suit from www.simpsonracing.com is probably the quickest. I hope you got a fat wallet, good luck!

1. First, I need to find the slick&skinnies fast. I've order a set from Hennessey last month but it seems like he took my $3000 and ran away!! I'd need to buy them asap new or used, but I don't know where to look, please help!!

Ditto others above

2. With the slick&skinny, at what RPM should I launch? and at what RPM should I change gear? Also need to know the proper tire pressures.

Never tried it but I've been told 5,000 RPM and dump the clutch for launch. The 2,500 is more for street tires.

3. Is adding a BTR NOS-propane onto venom 650R a bad idea?

Good idea, the 650 is just heads & cam so the nitrous will work good with that. Be careful of running lean if it still has a stock fuel pump.

4. where can I buy the racing suit and helmet?
www.jegs.com

5. Any advise or inputs are greatly appreciated..

Your going to need some serious power to take that Supra, but the Standard BTR nitrous kit with slicks/skinnies would make it a very close race in the 1/4 just don't do any high speed highway runs afterwards.

I would think BTR,s drag racing dvd would be a great education video for you to watch and you could order it with your nos/propane system. Best of luck. Jerry
