I saw this on eBay while looking at GTECH and GTECH Pro. pDyno
hooks into your Palm/PDA, tracks and stores data on 0-60, 1/4, turning Gs,
etc. then charts the run. Download the data to PC and load into Excel
(Excel file and Macros incl). Cost $50 vs $150 to $250 for the Gtechs.

Tests and Features include:
0-30 MPH time
30-50 MPH time
0-60 MPH time
¼ Mile ET
¼ Mile MPH
60 feet time
Maximum g's for acceleration and braking
Maximum g's for left and right turns
Estimated ¼ Mile time and speed
Estimated Engine Horsepower

MULTIPLE-RUN data logging with text entry for distinguishing runs

works well, check it out.

Tell us how well it works. I checked one out also (via their web page). I couldn't find specific data frequency information. I was worried that using the OBD port that data frequency may be limited.

Question on how they could do turning G's as the vehicle has no measurement system for that.
