Well, the 2007 Pocono-CSD has come to a close once again !

I want to thank all who attended from the VCA, we had 12 cars out on the great lawn of Pocono Manor on Sunday.
One of which was a Comp Coupe owned by our National President, Bob Carroll:2tu:
I was also pleased to see some of our new members in attendance, especially at the track.

We looked great next to the Corvettes and the Pantera's and across from the Ferrari's and Maserati's:D

But we looked even better when we were passing them on Monday at Pocono Raceway:drive:

A big thank you to the following people for thier help and support, so we all could enjoy our day in the sun.
Tom Roeller, Chris Saul, Scott Sorentino, Donna Kocubinski and Dave Moore. You all do a great job for us and we thank you!

I also want to thank Joe Moore who ran the event, and is one hell of a man. Joe pours his heart and soul into this event and it shows.

This year the NJ VCA brought along a young man, Michael Wesja, who has Brain Cancer as our guest. We raised over $10,000.00:2tu: for him and his family, as medical expenses are adding up. (see my story in the NJ Forums)
A special thanks to NY/CT VCA Officer Steve Katz for taking Michael on the ride of his life, you gave him a great memory and put a smile on a face that hasn't had much to smile about lately. Your the best Steve!

Hopefully Dave and Tom will follow my post with pictures, I know they took some great shots. Rumor is they have a shot of our National President demonstrating his unique entry into his Comp Coupe:D

I hope next year you make Pocono-CSD part of your Memorial Day plans, you won't regret it!

You guys are the best, everyone should know how big a hearts NJ Viper Club and the whole Viper community has........its not to often in our lives that one gets to do what they love and have the opportunity to help a great kid forget the fact that he is very sick , at least for a day.The hole day I was fighting back tears for a very brave boy. (life can be so unfair) It was an honor to meet Micheal and his family and take part in this great event . He is now on my screen saver at work and I will pray for him every day.

Bob,

It looked like a fun event. I met you briefly as I know you were busy. I was with Lauri and just watched. Nice turnout and the vipers were definitely moving, especially on the straights where we were watching.

Next year I will definitely run this event.

Here is a link to tons of pics. Sorry there is not more viper pics. I was taken by all the Ferrari's which I don't see as much of.

Ed,
It was a pleasure to meet you as well. Thanks for showing up and taking some great photos. I'm still waiting for our two NJ VCA members to post the pictures from the entire weekend.

Viper is an official marque of Pocono-CSD! So please get the gang from PA on board for next year. The NJ VCA also has it's own track day at Pocono August 16, you can go to our site for a registration form.

Thanks Again!

WOW!!! what a great weekend! The weather was perfect both days. The generosity of the Viper community was overwhelming, with the amount of money that was raised for Michael's family, and the friendships that were made. He truely is a very brave and sweet young boy, and will be in our thoughts.

Enjoy! Here are some pics from the day!:eater:
