I am starting to hear a fairly loud pop when I roll up my windows. I am thinking it's due to alignment issues? I had both windows regulators replaced under warranty due to rattles recently and wasn't sure if I need another visit to the dealership or this is something I can fix at home.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like an alignment problem, as you suspect. It also could be one of the regulators that has come loose and is binding when you try to use it. I have one door window(drivers) that rattles if it is all the way down. If I raise it just an inch or two, it stops. I hadn't thought about changing the regulators. If your regulators were changed under warrenty, I would have the dealer look into this, for it may have been caused by them.

I would just hate for you to open the door(remove the door panel, etc) and find that the dealer had screwed up. The dealer may turn his back on you as far as a free repair. If it hasn't been too long since the warrenty work, take your paper work and the viper to the dealer. The popping noise is not normal, and might damage something expensive(like what is not expensive on a viper). If it has been quite a while, get a shop manual for your car, buy or borrow, and give it a try. :2tu:
