I've got a stock 98 GTS. A friend of mine has a '01 Twin Turbo. He sent it off somewhere to Atlanta to be modified. Probably cost 45K plus to be modified. They told him it had 500+ horsepower. Since I had a Viper he wanted me to drive it to see how it was.

I drove it. Its a **** fast car. Probably more torque than the Stock Viper. You have to contend on this particular modified car with a little of the peakiness of the engine. Its sort of a race to see if your foot can hit the floor before the engine red lines in first. You're sort of in a state of shock when you realize you have to change to second.

He told me that the car when stock was a little "tame".

I raced a new 966TT about 4-5 months ago. It was early on Sunday morning on a new straight 5 lane hwy. with no traffic. He must of gotten on an entance ramp because I didn't see him until he pulled up next to me at 70 mph and smiled. I dropped into third and we gunned it to 170 mph, I pulled him by 8 car lengths.
