power steering fluid

My power steering fluid reservoir cap has no dipstick.Can some one give me an estimate ''distance from top of reservoir to fluid level please.(top of where the cap goes on, to fluid level)

ROUGHLY 1.75 inches below the very top of the reservoir would put the COLD fluid level just above the "C" mark on the dipstick

Are you not in NSW??

I just priced a cap with dipstick from USA $45.00 + $170.00 freight to AUST.
With your info i can make one. Yes ...NSW.

Somewhere on this forum you can find information about that cap. A replacement is the same as a Jeep for a much less price. I don't remember what year Jeep, (I think 1978), but I do know that it fits perfectly. These cars have a habit of losing them and many people use a wire to secure them on.
