Mr. Bells list is pretty spot on:
"exerpted"
You will need a set of complete doors from a 1997-2002 RT/10.
Remember the seat belt location is different. I use a Simpson 5 point harness through my seat, so I do not use the newer or older belts.
You will need the window/door seal (very expensive new-try to buy used). The newer windshield pillar has a short channel screwed to the side of it. You will need this to hold the window/door seal. The newer pillar has a grove to hide the channel, but it will still fit the old pillar.
I also bought the sport bar pad, since it is shorter. It fits between the doors instead of over the doors
You will need a newer style top. The mounts on the newer top are different, but it could be changed.
You will need to run a wire harness for the electric door latch and power windows. I am mounting the window switches in the door panels
The latches and hinges are the same.
A little more:
On top of the above, I put in a new windshield surround to hide the seals and fit the top(s) W/O any mods. I bought both a Gen II hardtop and a Gen II soft top, both fit right on, no issues what-so-ever. I should say Ed did.... do not try this at home. First, all the A/C ducting will not line up, Ed took the ducting off the old windshield and grafted it onto the new one. Then the dash will not fit, Ed spent hours cutomizing the dash to mate up with the windshield surround.
We have not put on the door panals yet, I'm betting they will not mate up with the dash and will need modding too, I get that job
I told Ed I'd doo the door panels and the electrical.
The "hard" part of the conversion is done and all buttoned up. Unfortunately, the digital camera I sent Ed died, so I have no pictures of the car with the top and doors all fitted.
My advice, buy a '97 or later if you want roll up window doors... it's a lot easier to add side pipes to a Gen II RT/10
