So in the midst of getting the car dyno tuned, the powersteering bracket broke right off :(. We only made one pull and it just snapped off. :omg: Car heated up to 250 degrees before we noticed the temps and shut her off. Got the billet aluminum pulley and bracket ordered from Roe Racing with extra fast shipping so I can have her back together by this weekend again!

Mods are: 8lb pulley, 2.4L Roe Racing S/C, water/**** injection. Car is on factory headers and exhaust. Dyno was done off water/****.

Quick fyi, this Dyno Dynamics is a heartbreaker! a bolt on Z06 made 446whp on this dyno and 487whp 2 weeks later on a Mustang Dyno.

Only made one pull :(. Car was running rich down low and too lean up top. 482whp/559wtq on a Dyno Dynamics off of the water/**** injection with factory headers/exhaust on a 8lb pulley

I sugguest you also change the Power Steering pulley also. In addition, I would suggest that you pin your crank bolt.

I got the billet aluminum bracket and pulley. I'll do a search on the crank bolt now too

The Crank pin kit comes from Sean also... BUT as you have the blower you may find the crank is already done...

482whp is way low. My '99 made 687whp with at 8lbs with no w/m. Replace your p/s pulley and bracket and get 'er tuned!

Holy crap that's strong! Do you still have the factory headers/exhaust still too? Mod list?

Yea 687 w/no **** @8lbs is rather high.

As mentioned earlier the original blower kit had the pins for the crank and it also had the MSD injector connectors that Sean recommends. The MSD connectors have the metal retainers and are easy to see. With used kits being sold I would make sure both items are on the car.

Sorry, 678. Dyslexia kicked in.

The car started out as a Hennessey 550 (490rwhp NA) and as such had ported heads, 70mm TBs, 1.7 rockers, headers, 3" exhaust and high flow cats. It took well to boost.

Makes sense now lol. I'm hoping I can make 550whp on water/**** on this particular dyno. Should equate to 600+whp on other dynos in WA but I like having everyone think I'm underpowered :p

Great #s Blacksnake, pretty much the same #s as mine with ****. Suprised you still have Hiflow cats on there, I thought I was the only Roe guy that used them.

My pulley broke after spending some time on the dyno to get some bone stock #'s on my 96 I picked up a few weeks ago. Got all the way home and my and the power steering quit. Called the Wizard in the morning and he "steered" me in the right direction.
