What did you pay? I'm in talks with several shops and going over some quotes. Seems like 900 to 1,200 is the norm? Is this too much?

Range I've heard for tape stripes is $500.00 to $1000.00....for WELL DONE paint job, it's $2500-3500....noting you do have a LOT of work to do ...removing some panels, wet sanding entire panel to be striped, painting stripe, then clear-coating whole panel...NOT as simple as I thought, and hence current prices. As I'm sure you KNOW, one can ALWAYS find someone to do it for whatever price one wants to pay...problem is: what do you do if it doesn't look right to you?? We are VERY HAPPY with the blue ('97 GTS Viper Blue) stripes put on 01 yellow GTS by Woodhouse prior to delivery...compared to our 97 blue/white GTS and 99 silver/blue ACR, the Woodhouse job gives a much more appealing finish...clear-coat OVER stripes AND rest of panel so there is NO step up to be felt (unlike factory job which has a real "bump" as you feel stripe). DON't let this slow you down, stripes are GREAT...GO FOR IT !!

There is definitely a lot of work involved in getting high quality stripes. Striping a Viper with all its curves is more art than science. Make sure you get it cleared over or it will be a major pain when waxing. I'd say $2500 is a fair price for a good quality striping.

Go with the guy I spoke to, he does the wet sanding and clear coating on the car....he's a really good quality artisan when it comes to car painting and such...Call me

My painter paints Hot Rod Show Cars such as Eric Claptons, he painted my stripes for $1000 about a year ago.
