Prefix console

I called Prefix to get pricing on their center console and radio bezel. It is their charcoal graphic overlay design. Its has only been installed in the VOI9 raffle car and the Special Edition Snakeskin cars. I have seen this in person and it looks very nice!

Price: $1200!!!

Thanks Robbie. I have seen those for sale on other vendor sites. I just think this looks much better in person. Up close the silver matches the brushed trim very well.

the Mopar Carbon Fibre kit is an aplique(plastic with 3M tape to hold it in place) cosmetic only (adds weight and not real CF on photograhic), but i am sure much less than the real deal

This is exacly the type of console I'm looking for. Not a gloosy CF version.

I cannot justify $1200 though.

My thoughts exactly! I'm not a fan of the glossy finish either. The guy at Prefix actually asked me if money was a factor.

I totally agree with you and wish it was more reasonably prices too as I would buy one. I wonder if someone could put together a group buy on these.

I called Prefix again to see what kind of deal we could work out on a small group buy. He said give him a couple days to come up with a price. I'll let you know when I hear from him. I told him the price was going to have to be much closer to other options on the market.

I called Ron at Prefix today. He said he is waiting on a call from a supplier and that he would have a price no later than Monday. I'll keep you posted.

O.K. Got a call from Ron at Prefix today...He can do 10 sets for $675 each. He knew we were looking for the $500 range but this is the best he can do. I believe the process they use is labor intensive.

Did anyone ever get in on this group buy and did not install it or want to sell? Is this the same console/bezel that is now called "Light Arc" in the 08/09's? I would like to get one for my Slate car. I tried JonB and XVipers with no luck.

Yeah, the search feature on here is GREAT!! The console is an option on the 08/09 cars, just hard to get one.
