Dave -
Got your PM yesterday on this issue and was hoping we would have a solution for you before now. Quite honestly, we have been unable to duplicate your problem - everything goes through fine on our end and we have tried several times to make it fail.
That said, another VCA gentleman said he was having problems and it may have been similar - he didn't say. We got on the phone and I walked him through uploading photos - no problems. It sounds like you are doing all the right things, but just in case:
Start by clicking "Upload Photos" on the top right task bar (you do NOT need to be in "My Photos" to do this).
Then select the photos you want to upload on the next screen (yeah, I know you already know this - but just in case). Make sure the photos are on your PC and they aren't corrupted in any way. Then click "Upload/Submit" at the bottom.
You will then see a "splash page" saying "
Preparing to process image list!" and then be taken to a "preview" screen that allows you to further edit/add titles, descriptions, etc. The "Add Photo" box (second column) should be checked by default, so don't click it again (removing the check mark) as that simply negates the upload.
Everything look good? Click the "Process" button at the bottom of that page. You will then see another splash page that says "
Processing image list"and then another splash page that says"
Your image was uploaded successfully!" There shouldn't be any screen that simply says "Done." You should also have some hypertext below each of those messages that says:
Click here if you do not want to wait any longer
(or if your browser does not automatically forward you)
Voilà! Assuming your browser correctly forwards (and doesn't somehow block these pages as "pop ups"), you should then see your uploaded photo in your own gallery of photos, like this:
Click on the size of photo you want to display where it says "Filesize" below each picture (larger photos will usually give you at least two options) and you should end up with this:
Okay, maybe not a 1970 'Cuda but you get the idea...
I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to let us know if it doesn't. We will take it back to the programmers and see what else we can do!
