It has been a while since I posted an update on my '98 GTS. Things are finally starting to go back together. The engine, tranny and rear-end are all now installed. Kyle at the House of Speed here in Houston has been doing a great job.

Hopefully the mechanical side will be complete in a couple of weeks so I can trailer the car to Louisiana for the new paint job.

I'm 6 months into this project - with hopefully only 2 more months to go. All this work and I have never even driven this car 1 mile.

Thanks for the comments.

All the engine parts you see have been powder coated the correct bright red to match the body. I also had all the plastic tanks (washer, coolant overflow, A/C inlet box, ect.) painted red by Auto Buffs in New Jersey. These parts should arrive today and I will post some pics soon.

Paint job will be Viper red with sparkle silver stripes.
