I believe I have read about this before, can't remember. Last week I had prepped the GTS for VIR, oil change with 10.5 quarts. Never got to go to VIR due to death in family so the car sat a week. Yesterday I took it out and was playing around. I made a hard stop into a parking lot which was enough to require pedal modulation with a brief left front lockup. I shut the car off went into the store and came back about 10 minutes later. When I started the car there was a rather large plume of grey exhaust smoke which cleared and has not occurred since. I seem to recall something about oil going somewhere in hard stops and doing this?

Ok, should have done my search first. I found plenty of info. I was on stock Sports, could the extra 1/2 quart of oil contibuted to the problem, I think it would. Is the extra oil even needed for track events?

this was explained in serious detail in another thread pretty recently.. something about hard deceleration forcing oil through this thingy that leads to this other thingy that leads to the thingy that leads into the combustion chamber.. the oil burns up leaving a puff of smoke out of the exhaust...

professional consensus was that it is normal and not to worry..

Agree it sounds like you "puked" oil into the airbox, then "inhaled" it via throttle bodies...check/clean out airbox/filters.
