K4 - you seem to be a bit confused about what year Viper you "own". In a previous post of yours you state "Just purchased a new 05 roadster ...." - yet in this post you state it's an 06 you "own".

Why waste our time with these nonsensical posts. For that matter - why do you waste the oxygen on this earth?

"4. give the Viper to your wife"

Man you're dead wrong, here's number 8 for ya ;)

8. Quit jerking off and go get laid some time (how can he possibly HAVE a wife that is willing to keep up?), if the Viper doesn't exite you enough to overcome it's relatively small issues then maybe that will. Oh, and BE CAREFUL that the friction from doing "the deed" doesn't hurt your feelings like your car did to you!

k4site.

On a more serious note, there are lots of things you can do to reduce the heat. On Verts a fair amount of head comes off the hood exhausts, and is vented directly into the cockpit around the lower corner of the windshield. Just raising your windows blocks most of this with the top down.

In slow moving traffic you can raise your visors past 90º and you will receive a welcome blast of fresh air into your lap.

Replacing your exhausts (keeping your stock exhausts to convert back to original) with Corsa track models will replace the crossover, and significantly reduce interior heat.

Spend a bit of time with your Viper, and experiment just a bit. The AC is quite strong, and by aiming the vents can make the interior quite comfortable. If the sun is too hot, raise the roof for some shade.

Lots of Vipers are driven daily in the desert communities. Compared to pre SRT models yours is a very cool ride.

Re: Putting viper in summer storage *DELETED*

According to Dodge, the SRT10 is a roadster if it's not the coupe model.

I think k4site posted this just to rattle everyone's chain, BOY did it work. He is probably rolling in the isles. You guys fell for it.
IMHO

I dunno, I dont think anyone's chain is rattled. I for one, actually enjoy a pointless thread like this every now and then to get a free cheap laughs out of.

If you thought it was hot in the Viper when it was 80 degrees you must be hating life today in Phoenix-97 degrees!
