What are the major differences between the '06 - '09 Coupes by year? Is there a comparison chart somewhere on the 'net?

Not looking for nitty-gritty differences (though I wouldn't mind knowing), just the main considerations (HP, TQ, braking, etc.)

Thanks!

Well, this really isn't a nutz-n-bolts kind of stat like you were asking for, but I know that there were really low production numbers on the '07s.

Should be worth something.

Well, the 06's had only 510hp/535tq.

The 08'/'09 Vipers have 600hp/560tq. Better trans and rear too! Probably the reason I'm looking to upgrade.:D

I *think* the brakes are all the same except for the ACR's. 06's use RunFlat tires from the factory, while the 08'/09' use PS2's.

I put PS2's on my '06 at about 500 miles - Much Better!!

Well im not sure what dave6666 meant by 07's because they did not make an 07. But you can compare 08's and 09's on edmunds.com. Other than color change options I'm not aware of any changes in the two years of any significance for 08 or 09. There were a lot of changes from 06 to 08 in performance and some body changes a well. I did not see the final production numbers for 08 but was supposed to be 1500. Hope that helps a little.

I've become a holiday martini. Not a consumer of, but the drink. All those years of beers have fermented me into a cocktail.
Is that high?

Interesting. Poetic. You seem to be a bit self critical on this Christmas day. Are you up or over ice? Are you extra dry ( I think so today) or are you vermouthed? Are you plain, twisted or olived? Is someone staring at the glass you are in with desire or disdain? Or, have you already been consumed and you are awaiting absorption? In any event, it's only a few more hours and you will be the same good humored ****** that all of us have come to respect and appreciate. Merry Christmas Dave. To us, you are far more than a holiday Martini.

Best,

Bob

Only three years of the SRT coupe built so far.

2006 (first year)
2008-2009

No such thing as a 2007 Viper, they just continued to sell 2006 models.

2008-2009 models got a more aggressive hood, revised TR6060 transmission, 600 hp via better flowing heads and intake manifold, higher compression ratio, more aggressive camshaft. They also got a revised rear axle. Brakes and all other body panels and interiors are the same. Color choices vary by years.
