What you're describing sounds quite normal. FWIW, once I installed an aftermarket exhaust, I no longer heard the valvetrain

I am very certain that it is fuel injector noise and not valvetrain on my car. But then what do I know??? Ron, The ex Valvetrain Guy (Hmmm sounds kinda like ex glass guy eh?)
