Quick questions: engine, chassis number verification, tuneup

Hi, all - I'd just like to see if anyone can confirm a couple of points.
1) Chassis number: top of the passenger-side frame rail, next to the shifter, visible if the center console parts are removed
2) Engine number: lower right front of the block, near the oil pressure sensor
3) Tuneup cost by a shop: roughly $700? Is this high, low, normal?

Depends on what the tuneup entails.
$150 plugs and labor (guessing) + $550 for a ******* car wash?
