Last year I bought an enclosed trailer from another member. The trailer came with straps that go around the A arms, which I have been using. there are four of them so I haven't worried much about the car. A week before I had found and bought the trailer, I had orderd a set of the R hook straps. I've never even opened them and was thinking about selling them.

The question is whether I would be better off using the straps that came with the Trailer or using the Rhooks? :dunno:

I have heard and seen people using both ways. I personally used the strap method once, then bought some R hooks. The way I see it is that the viper was trucked to dealers using the R hooks, so that is probably the best way to do it.

I have both. My preference is to use the 2" straps wrapped carefully around the inner pivots and anchored diagonally across the trailer. R hooks can bend the holes.
