Racing Stripes

I did a search and really did not come up with info on factory stripes for a 2002 R/T 10. So my question is does anyone know what the factory options were for this year for the R/T 10? I know the double stripe was one. If I missed a thread on this please link it to your post. Thanks

The only RT/10's that came with factory stripes were the '95's. All coupes from '97 on had a stripe option, but not convertibles.

As far as options, I would think color, outside and inside, as well as a hardtop were the only options.

There were stripes that year, just not on the RT/10

No 95 Viper had factory stripes. Black and white 96 R/T 10's had vinyl stripes under clearcoat...red cars had no stripes. Most 97 blue R/ T 10's had white stripes.

Redtanrt10, were you thinking about the few (19 ??) Shelby Vipers produced by Fitzgerald Motorsports in 1995 (?96) that were off white with bluish stripes? If so, they were not "factory" paint jobs.

Good info guys thanks. Thinking about adding factory stripes to my 02 R/T 10. It's yellow. I guess I need to look at some older cars to give me an idea of what it would look like.

Many have done the same...often those with hardtops...which you should already have.

Steve actually meant to say the "96's" not '95's And forgot about the blue/white '97's

Nice pics. So was the factory 8" wide and 4" between? That is what I read somewhere. Did the stripes run through the license plate area in the rear?

As to the Shelby variant...there are conflicting reports as to year (and number...and I sure don't know the correct answer. My local friend who had one said it was a 95. See links:

One of the ones I have is a 95 and started out Viper Black CC, I'm not hopeful
