True.....but NOT of the 50 made for retail (well....49 made for retail and 1 for Nabil!!). I think they are Pace Truck only versions.

Nascar demanded that the pace trucks used be automatics. How many they changed I don't know.

They are probably still being used to Pace races, and I swore I saw one doing just that after Daytona - just can't remember what race. I doubt they will be sold for some time,and may end up like alot of Pace vehicles - in the crusher.

Just tell Dodge you want an automatic, since there is always next year!

Since they are not "certified", they will likely be crushed. To sell them, they would need to be completely updated to production (safety and emmission) certification, ie, no Auto, this is highly unlikely, but not impossible.

Blame it on the Fed's.... they take all the fun out of manufacturing just about everything.
