Re-Use Flywheel bolts?

I asked the same question recently to a well respected builder on this site. Most will disagree (thus my leaving his name off) and depending on your specific application I would tend to take the safe route too, but since you asked, he indicated you can reuse once/twice but then you need to replace. So far, no issues with doing that (including head bolts and u-joint straps in my specific case...flame on). But as the saying goes, if you have to ask you already know the answer. It is sure convenient to reuse but it’s very inconvenient to have a problem later...

I have heard it is OK to do it once. New bolts are not cheap.

I assume Loctite is required if you re-use the bolts?
