Guys I am selling my 94 Viper RT/10 and wanted some honest opinions of the value. I searched far and wide for the best example I could find. It is Black w/ 28K original miles, no accidents. Everything works and I have original books, window sticker and some records. It has new tires and some recent service work. What do you guys think is a realistic selling price that will actually sell the car. It is in excellent condition. Thanks.

TTT I would also like to know as I have a red 94 with 26K miles on mine.

Yours has been in the rain before (luckily mine stayed in the underground parking that day and still has never been wet...). Therefore, the value on yours is not very much. I'll offer $13k just b/c you seem like a nice guy. And I want a full tank of gas.

$28,900 to sell quick. $32,500 if you have some time, and want to leave some negotiating room. Anything over that $32.5k, and it will be tough to move.

Ebay it would go for upper 20's. If you wait several months and find a right buyer... low 30's (but not easy).

keep in mind, if you have to sell it you better blow it out now. the market seems to be getting worse by the day. from all the economy numbers i see coming in, it will get worse before it gets better.

Chad, you must have forgot. Mine was parked in my room. So, no it has yet to see rain. Like you said I don't even use water when I wash it... ha

Really don't need to sell it but I would really like a RT/10 with windows. That would be great!! ha Might throw it on Autotrader for $32K and see what offers I get. Time to up-grade!!

Thanks guys. I am in TN. I appreciate the info. My goal was to get around $28-28.5K for it. So it sounds like it is feasible.

I think your right on the money!!! If its clean, you should move it quick at that number... sell it NOW though.. Once it gets late in the summer. People who were going to buy, have already bought. And the rest, will wait and buy in the winter. At which point, your probably talking 25-26ish..

So, I'm reading out of curiousity, as I have a 98 RT/10 wtih 5k miles. Now, you've all made me curious as to the "rough" value of my car....totally stock, no hardtop, just wondering what the range is.:dunno:

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I may be in the same boat. I am about to purchase my first house and I am doing everything possible to NOT sell the viper... but it might come down to it.

I have a mint 93 Viper with 27k miles.

However.. I have brand new CCW 505A wheels, full belenager headers back exhaust, springs, gears, head gaskets and thermostat housing gaskets changed, brand new brakes, slotted rotors, pads, steel lines. and much more. like never seeing rain/snow? that has to count for something!

So I have no idea where to price mine at since I have put so much money into it already. I have a feeling I will lose several 1000's :(

a few thousand is squat compared to what the value of the house your looking at will go down in the next 10-15 months. if you can wait on the house, i would. you could probably buy an 08 SSG with what you save.:D

I have a Roe/Heads/Cam 94 with 26,000 miles, 3 piece top, water ****, 10#, about 650rwhp, if someone offered me 40, it would be gone. It seems like this is a really bad time to sell.

well the VA/MD area, the housing prices have already had a huge drop. They are all on forclosure now, and you can really haggle a price down. The longer i wait the more some of these houses do seem to be coming down thou. Its a tough decision on when to buy.
