My Sapphire GTS came with chrome on the fenders and Sapphire on the rear bumper.

Wow, the chrome ones R&J sells look to be a better quality than the stock ones. :2tu:

I bought a full set from R&J for my 1993. They look good, but the pictures on the website can be deceiving.

They look like they're high-polish chrome on the website, but they're actually acrylic. There is a silver base, then a 3D translucent cover on them. Basically, if you took the stock badges and shaved them down so they were paper-thin and painted them silver, the reapplied the removed portion as completely clear, that's what they look like.

Don't get me wrong; they look good, especially with the chrome 18" OEM Gen. II wheels, but I was surprised when I got them and they weren't metallic.

Here are 2 of the best pictures I have of them on my machine at work.

I hope that helps.

You remove the old ones first. Mark the location of the old ones with some masking tape before removing and it will be easy to apply the new ones in the same location. Also remember to remove any wax with some alcohol or similar after removing the old ones so that the new ones will stick properly.

Great, sounds easy!
