I've been thinking about removing the logos on my rear bumper to produce a smother, easier to wax, surface.
Has anyone else done this? How does it look?

I like the silver, tone on tone on my 05. I'm proud to have the Dodge badge and I don't think 75% of the people out there would know it's a Viper without it. IMO
You are quite right--we have the chrome logos that REALLY show up on the black, and we had a lady who was looking at the car say "WOW---is that an EXOTIC FOREIGN car????"...all while LOOKING at the DODGE emblem!!! LOTS of people do NOT know what this car is, and ask what it is, that it MUST be foreign!!! tooooo funny....

**We are also proud of the Dodge Viper, and want people to know what it is, hence the chrome lettering.
I like the fact that Dodge makes the Viper but their customer service & support ****. I am not embarrassed to own a Dodge; however, I do not want to give them any free advertising and besides, I think it looks better without the DODGE emblem on the rear.
Got to agree on this one. The same goes for dealers who plaster their names and logos on our cars or license plate frames. If they want us to advertise for them then pay us.
I removed all the logos and lettering on my viper and had custom chrome "Viper" only letters made up for the side sills. There was a group buy on these awhile ago from a club member and they were perfect.

Hey Juli,
You're correct, it is neck breaker, it has a double meaning, one can be for the whiplash effect and the other is for the amount of attention the car gets, most people twist their necks to catch second look.
