been asking alot of questions and everyone seems to be very knowledgeable, so i was wondering if anyone could scan a parts catalog of the rear light housing section.

i think the clips popped out or broke and i want to see if i can pop it back in. i took the everything out of the rear trunk but i dont think i can get to it except removing the rear bumper first. does anyone have a solution? also if i have to disassemble the rear bumper are there any hidden bolts?

ordered a service cd for my car but wont be here for a few weeks so hopefully that is covered in it.

its for a 04 convert

There are metal clips that push on over tabs on the top and bottom of the BU light. If you remove the plastic hex acorn nuts that hold the tail light in, and remove the tail light, you can easily see the BU light. They are a pain to push back on sometimes. I added a drop of clear silicone on the tab that will keep the clip in place if it works itself loose again. It can't be seen from the outside. I have an extra set of service guides that I'll sell for $100 if you think you'll need them in the long run. You can also find them on ebay.

If a tab is broken off you'll have to manage with what you have or get a used one.
