Maybe I'm looking for problems but I can't see sh** when I'm turning right. The inside, window mounted rear view mirror hides so much of the road when I look to the right that it's downright dangerous. I have a RT/10 and I wonder if I should mount the windshield mirror higher, or get a smaller mirror.

Sounds kinda picky, but I move my head around so much to see around the mirror and the narrow windshield that it detracts from the enjoyment of driving. Anyone move their mirror, or change sizes?

Seems to be heighth-related.

I actually considered removing the OEM mirror, and placing a small, dash-mounted mirror instead. The courtesy-lamp wiring foiled my plan, and I instead monkeyed w/ the "gooseneck" positions and adjusted it up/down/left till I had a better view.

GTS owners who are 6'3"+ will benefit from removing the drivers sun visor ! HONEST ! try it !!!

I have done what Jon B said and that helped a lot. I also placed the side mirrors to face out more so that I can barely see the red of the car. This has helped me eliminate some of the blind spot from the rear. But I an 6' tall and need to duck down a bit still. I will look into the dash mounted rear view as suggested.

This works well: (94 RT)
Take mirror off (undo screw, slide upwards.) Take a razor blade and cut the plastic sheet that glues the "medallion" to the glass. It's easy- it is not glued on with super glue, as I thought. Then clean off off the rest of the double sticky from the back of the medallion and use a store-bought rear-view mirror glue kit and more the medallion to the right. I moved it over about 5", or roughly on the other side of my EZPass. Re-glue, let dry, replace mirror. The wire for the light is long enough.

I can now make right turns (I had a few close calls) and can still see behind me- at least to the center line of a two lane road- and use the side mirror for anything further to the left behind me.

Highly recommmended for those height challenged at any level.

I am 5'-8", and I have a tough time with the same thing, the rear view gets in the way of the right side view. To make it even worse, if you drive any of the time with factory side curtains, they mess up your view out the right side as well. As Jon B said, moving the mirror around somewhat did help, but it still gets in the way! Sounds like an aftermarket thing that somebody should persue, I think there would be a lot of interest in a product like this. There are fixes for the side curtains with aftermarket ones, but the mirror thing is or can be a pain sometimes.
