Is the rubber gasket supposed to be glued to the glass in the rea window of an RT/10? If so, what type of adhesive is/can be used? My rubber pulls right off the glass, which is annoying.

Thanks

Use some 3M 8001(yellow) or I think 8009(black)weatherstrip adhesive. Clean the rubber then reglue. The rubber on RT rear gless is molded onto the glass. You can't get the rubber seperate from glass so it's about $600.00 for a new one and getting hard to find. I replaced mine with a rubber channel similar and glue it on. It's real hard to tell the difference.

Do a search, there is a gasket you can put in place of the old rotted stuff and it works great. Cheap too(like $20). Little bit of work to get the old stuff off completely, but in the end, worth the time and effort.

Mine has a rubber weatherstrip, which isn't molded into the glass. I'lll look for the weatherstrip adhesive.
