ive been noticing when im WOT and shifting 2-3, 3-4 high rpm high speed, the rearend seems to kick to the right with a hard shift, ive never noticed this before. is this just slight traction loss and therefore normal or is it a possible rearend problem?

What year is your viper? Was it subject to the recall to strengthen how it stays attached to the car?

Doc, this is gonna sound stupid, but lower temperatures play a large part in traction with our cars, I'm originally from Michigan and I would guess you are seeing some lower temps. in Ohio these days. Were the days you noticed this a little colder? I see this on my car all the time as the weather cools, those shifts that used to grab, slide a little due to temp. of the tire and the pavement. I seem to remember JonB and other gurus commenting on this every fall as the temps. dropped. Hey, just weave around like the nascar guys do, warm 'em up!
