Recommended dealers to order an \"03 from?

Hi everyone,
I am new to the board, and will probably be a lurker until I get a 2003 Viper whenever. I have owned a 1998 Corvette Coupe, a 2000 Corvette Convertible, and a 2001 ZO6, which was just repurchased by GM for excessive oil consumption. I was on the Corvetteforum, this board's counterpart for the Vette, and they have associated dealers that many members buy their Vettes from. These dealers go out of their way to treat the members right, and I have yet to read a negative experience with an associated dealer.

I want to put down a deposit on a 2003 Viper when I can, and would like some recommendations for Dodge Dealers in the Southeast, particularly the greater Atlanta area, that members have had good experiences with. I would really appreciate any leads you all could give.

Thanks for any help.

Sometime future Viper owner,
Dave

Agree with Dan Cragin as a good source. Would add Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse, along with Roanoke and Fitzgerald...all are sponsors on this board and come well recommended by Viper owners. That said, please understand that those of us who have already placed deposits on 2003 Viper have NO assurances that we will indeed get a car...Dodge-Chrysler-MB have NOT stated just how they will allot cars to dealers...system MAY NOT be as before. The "smart money" says (read that "thinks" , "hopes" ) that owning a Viper NOW and belonging to the VCA may put one in a better position. Personally, I like to cover ALL bases...money down at a well known, highly respected and high volume dealer, own a few Vipers, and am VCA member....still, there are NO guarantees. We HOPE above works!!! Good luck.

My thoughts are, sooner the better to get on a list! I've got money down at one! First on the list, although I don't know what that really means. Of course, I am hoping that they will be allocated at least 1!!! Now I am thinking of putting money down at a couple dealerships, maybe that will help my chances! My fingers are crossed! I have to be on Chrysler's good side, '97 Prowler, '97 GTS, '98 Wrangler! Then again, that's nothing compared to many out there!
Just trying to be optimistic!!! Of course, I haven't forgotten to PRAY!!...

recommend you go with a dealer who in the past has gotten high volume allocation. It's better to be 40th on a dealers list who
will get a large allocation than to be first on a dealer
who may not get any! Top dealers such as Woodhouse or Fitzgeralds
will get quantities.............

I second that motion. (My personal favorite, Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse Dodge)
