It's official; there is no way anyone will mistake a GEN V Viper for a new 2014 Vette. Not impressed but then again not unwhat I expected from Chevy.

So the C6 borrowed styling queues from the Gen III Viper. Looks like the C7 set it's sights on the Nissan GTR this time.

I can't help but see GTR, though the taillights do favor a Camaro. Yup, I think it's safe to say it won't be mistaken for a Viper.

I actually prefer the camaro lights.... I'm not a big fan of the big circles that Corvette has sported for decades now.... but then again - I'm not a big Corvette fan.... so I guess the die hards hate it.

I love it! I think it looks fantastic - but I agree with most here, I don't like the Camaro style tail lights.

So I think it's a great looking car but I don't want one and I won't buy one. It's just not my type of car.

If the guy had actual pictures he should have posted them with the drawings.
This could be just another concept car that never makes it to production.

There's alot of Ferrari 599 in that Vette. I like it.
But I wouldn't buy it!!!!!

My first thought was how much I don't like the Camaro rear end... I guess I'm not alone! Overall, I like it. I especially like the rear window. What I don't like, besides the rear end, is the notch for the door pull, and it has a few too many vents.

Those are not "Camaro" tail lights. The Camaro is the one that got a Corvette tail light layout. You guys have it backwards. The Camaro hasn't had quad tail lights since the early 70s, and when Chevy first unveiled the concept with them as they are now, not many people liked them. In fact, everyone was griping that they put Corvette tail lights on the Camaro. I was one of those guys, I'd rather have had the longer '69 style lights on the Camaro. They should have made the new Camaro more like this from the rear.

As someone who loves the C6 vette (I think the C6ZO6 is a beautiful car!), I think this is a serious step in the WRONG direction for the Corvette's styling. I hope that it's one you 'have to see in person,' but I'm not liking what I see at all.

Can't imagine the Gen V (or any Viper for that matter) will have too much competition with the C7 styling.

The new Corvette is beautiful, both exterior and interior. When the power ratings and performance figures for the C7 ZR1 are released get ready to eat quite a bit of humble pie.

A source of mine who I trust told me the Jalopnik leak was not planned by GM... it was a true leak and the source no longer works for GM. I always thought it was planned and that the car may come out slightly different.

I don't get some people sometimes. I am in a similar position dealing with confidential info for work etc. Why risk your job or livelihood over what is known to be confidential info? The thought would never even cross my mind, let alone on something as big as a car release years in advance.

I'm extremely surprised when I came here and saw how many people hated the tail lights.... the one main thing I've hated on the corvettes up until this model, is the round tail lights... it makes the car look cheep.... but these tail lights, make it look like an exotic car.... I actually like them. Would I like them on a Viper? Hell no.... but this is a Corvette.
