red with stripes on RT

I was thinking about getting racing stripes put on my red 95 RT/10, but I had the same problem as Patrick. What color on red and what type should I get. I heard about some being painted on and others that are vinyl. What is the best way to go, how much, and who does the best job.

Check with Rich Detert - he recently had Silver stripes I believe painted. His car looks absolutely gorgeous!

Silver is the way to go! I had my GTS painted with silver stripes a couple of weeks ago and man does it look awesome—about 1,200 bucks. The attention it draws has increased 10 fold, which is good and bad. Not sure if stripes were available from the factory on a 95 RT/10 so you might want to go with the vinyl.

I had white stripes painted on my 94 for $2000. I followed the 96 GTS stripe pattern which is 8x4x8 I think. I love the way it looks, although I have seen pics of Rich's car with the silver strips which looks great also!!! Either way it's hard to go wrong. I think that strips totally change the look of the car (for the better IMHO).
