I am very interested in installing Cat backs on my 92. Increase flow, lower temp. on side sills.

What is the typical Rear wheel horse power gain with this upgrade?

Is there a sound file?

If you have this system, please let me know how you like it.

My car is at Tator's this week. Sure would be nice to get this straightened out for the ride home.

THANKS,-Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Matt posted some sound and video links from his '94. The only difference is that his has the Borla headers also. Here's the link: http://vca1.viperclub.org/ubb/Forum14/HTML/007303.html

An honest HP increase would be 15+ at the rear wheels. Note that on '92 and '93, the exhaust is not a fast, easy bolt on because you have the spring style hangers and I do not have that model year to test fit. It will require a a new hanger or removing the original one from your current exhaust.

JEFF:

I HAVE THE ROE SYSTEM ON MY 93RT10. I HAVE THE 3" CATS WITH THE BORLA MUFFLERS. GREAT SYSTEM AT A GOOD PRICE. SOUND IS GREAT. SIDE SILL TEMPERATURE GREATLY REDUCED. INSTALLED MYSELF BUT NOT A DIRECT BOLT ON ITEM. MY ADVICE-
SAVE A LOT OF YOUR TIME, FRUSTRATION, AND GO TO A GOOD MUFFLER SHOP FOR INSTALL. SHOULD COST 200.00 OR LESS. ROE OFFERS HONEST ADVICE AND GREAT SERVICE.

Jeff-

As Sean said, I've got his whole $3100.00 package put on mine. Started at 360 RWHP, ended up with 405 RWHP. Started at 451 RWTorque, ended with 498 RWTorque. You ask do I like it,
H$LL YES, I LOVE IT!!!!!

I have a 93 with the retro fit kit from springs to rubber pads. If you want, I think I'm Sean's "guinea pig", I'll be more than happy to write you a report on how I did the job and send you pics. The sound is awesome, I love it. It sets off car alarms...

Bill- The oil leak is coming from (a)the oil pan, (b) around the housing at the oil filter, (c) around the sending unit.

There was no seaping around the head gaskets.

Chuck started the alignment and said that it was within the specs. so far.

Most shops charge you for an alignment if they put the machine on it, not Chuck.

I think the exhaust will wait for now. I do not think he could get it done this week and Chuck wants to wait until we find out about getting the sills replaced.

I like the sound of your car, so cat backs are next.
