Refinishing Windshield Wiper Arms

Please tell me what finish (Matte, Semi, or Gloss) I should use to freshen up my wiper arms. I’m thinking of using a matte black or dark grey trim finish, it’s used on bumpers and trim I gather, but wanted to be sure that I’m going in the right direction with this, both in finish and color.

I think the factory finish is somewhere between semi or gloss, maybe like a satin? It's not super shiny, but it's definitely not matte. As best I can tell they are just straight black as well, though could be novel to change it up a little depending on your car color. Guess it depends on if you are trying to do a stock restoration style finish or something that just looks nice.
