So what is the best way to remove the glue that is left over from the registration tags that you guys from texas have on your front windows? My '08 came from texas and I was able to peel off one of the tags but it left the glue all over the windshield.

Step 1 - Scrape with sharp single edge razor blade.

Step 2 - Rubbing alcohol and a rag.

Step 3 - If needed, Goof Off and a rag.

Step 4 - Open a beverage and relax.

Goof off. Either a solvent or a Disney character. You get to pick.

Or the character that is opening the beverage....especially if he opened one to many beverages and now is wondering what the alcohol and razor are for...

I've always sprayed glass cleaner and scraped the residue off, then wiped with a microfiber. Works perfect everytime, and I've done it for window stickers and tint as well. If the denatured alcohol or adhesive remover is easier (less elbow grease) it might be worth it, but not sure if that would discolor the dash/trim.
